You can add assets to KnowledgeTree from various repositories.  Supported repositories are:

  • Web Pages
  • Launchpad
  • Salesforce 
  • SharePoint
  • Box
  • Egnyte
  • Marketo
  • Gmail
  • Google Drive
  • Dropbox
  • OneDrive
  • Alfresco
  • FTP
  • WebDav

To add assets:
  1. Login to your KnowledgeTree Manager Account
  2. Click the Add button


  3. You'll be taken to the Add Assets page.  Select where your assets are stored.  In this example, we're adding assets from a Box.com account.



  4. You'll be asked to authenticate into the account where your assets are stored.  In this example, we're logging into a Box.com account.



  5. Once authenticated you'll be presented with a list of assets.  Select the assets you would like to link to your KnowledgeTree Manager account and click "Add". All files remain in Box, we do not import and store your content. Instead, we maintain a link to ensure you always get the latest version of your content from the source location.



  6. Once assets have been added they'll be included in the Recently Added list at the bottom of the Add Assets page.  This makes it easier to add assets and immediately curate them for discovery.


 

Congratulations!  You've added assets into your KnowledgeTree Manager account and can now curate them for discovery in Salesforce.
