This article covers how to add assets from your SharePoint sites to your KnowledgeTree account.


You must complete the steps outlined in Connecting to Sharepoint before you can add SharePoint content to KnowledgeTree.

Adding SharePoint Assets to KnowledgeTree

Once you've set up Salesforce Files Connect you'll see your connected SharePoint libraries when you select the Salesforce asset source on the Add Assets page. You can drill down into your SharePoint libraries and add files to KnowledgeTree as you do with any other source.

Notes:  Users trying to add assets from SharePoint to KnowledgeTree must already have access to SharePoint directly.  We're using that user's SharePoint credentials, through Salesforce, to get the files.  This ensures that, only users that already have access to SharePoint assets can add those assets to your KnowledgeTree account.
