For each customer we monitor the number of sales users actively using KnowledgeTree for Salesforce.  For convenience sake, we do not limit or restrict access to KnowledgeTree based on license seats.  As a customer’s sales team grows, the last thing we want to do is interrupt service.  

We mimic the Salesforce access model in how we extend access to KnowledgeTree. This is why we recommend using Layouts and Permissions to limit access to the appropriate sales users.

If there is continued overage of licenses over a period of time and customers would like to allow the users to continue to use the KnowledgeTree application, we would need to discuss a true up.   We will only reach out if there is prolonged overage.
